Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress who is best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She dropped out of school when her parents split up to move into Los Angeles to live with her mother. In 2001, despite her financial struggles it was possible get her first significant role in the online video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and was awarded an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the series to focus on her acting career. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. She was as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. She reprised her role in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes, playing Shannon. In 2013 she appears in the sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith who's the star-gazer and a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor parts in a few of her father's films and appeared together with her brother in popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). She then appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, a romantic comedy-drama erotico, and Sherrybaby (a drama) earned her nominations for Golden Globe Awards. After a string of commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center in 2006 her name was recognized more widely when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). Nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years she appeared in comedy as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent of Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a vocalist in Frank 2014 and also in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the title character. The debut of Gyllenhaal as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also won an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
