Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). After relocating to Oxfordshire around the age of five, she enrolled in The Dragon School. Emma had a dream to become an actor since she was aged six. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school that offers part-time classes. Through a school play as well as an Stagecoach production, Emma took as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie adaptation of J.K. Emma was nominated five times for her part in the film.
