Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director, best known as the star of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic roles. As an actor, he has played a number of romantic roles and also appeared in action thrillers. He developed an interest in acting and performing when the age of his teens and attempted stand-up comedy as young men. Although his stand-up show was not successful it helped in the development of his acting. As he was not able to make it as the actor of his dreams, he chose to become a television cameraman. It was while working there when he realized the way he wanted to work was present in front of cameras. When he was offered a part on television, he appeared on numerous shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. It was no surprise that He quickly became a renowned television actor. After having a successful acting career in film, his comedic appearances brought him plenty of recognition. The actor became more famous for his role as Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew up in the field of acting and then began doing productions and even directing films. In the film Birdman (2014) the actor won numerous awards and nominations.
