Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext in the year 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in films based on comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). As well as his part as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. His work on the Marvel series made him one of the world's highest-paid actors.
